BREAKING: Many Trapped As Four-Storey Building Collapses In Abuja

Currently, at Life Camp, Jabi in Abuja, many people are being trapped in a four-storey building, that collapsed. 


The building collapsed around 4:00 PM on Monday, July 3, while construction workers were carrying out their work. The collapsed building was intended to be used for hotel accommodation.


Those that bear the eyewitnesses said that, the building collapsed during the casting work, shortly after the engineer had gone. The building is located in a swampy area of Dape near Berger Clinic,  the building's collapse was attributed to the fact that, the materials being used are substandard. 


The rescue operations are already on the incident scene,as at the time of publishing this news. The rescue operations, consist of officials from FCT Fire Service, Nigerian Police and National Emergency Management Agency.

The group in a press statement by its president, Aare Ogunmola Sakiru said the elevation of the high chiefs is a critical canon for progressivism in the anals of traditional rulership in Ibadan—  noting that the move by the Oyo State Government has the prospect of enhancing nation building in Ibadan land.
