The Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has come under series of attacks for allegedly ignoring President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on one of her social media handles. 


Recently, the Director General shared pictures of herself and other Presidents at the Paris Global Finance Summit, on her Twitter page, excluding the pictures with Tinubu. 


On her page, she wrote;"At a panel in the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact in Paris addressing the issue of the role of trade and trade policy in fighting climate change, poverty and inequality. With @Lagarde @MathiasCormann @LaurenceTubiana @IFADPresident @raksha Sultan Al Jaber @DrTedros @JuttaUrpilainen and Nathalie Delapalme #NewGlobalFinancingPact."

In continuation of the tweet: "More images from the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact in Paris. With HE President @LulaOfficial HE President @Macky_Sall HE President @CyrilRamaphosa and HE President @HHichilema."


This post generated a lot of controversies on her page, as some people saw the post as an embarrassment on President Tinubu, for her to make relevance with the other countries President, and not her own nation. 


Some of the reactions of the people on her page, @Realtor_Richi wrote: "It will be an unwise and arrogant decision ma if you posted all the pictures of you with another country's leaders without posting that of your country. Whether you like or not Tinubu is the President of Nigeria. We are watching you ma" @Ubig1 wrote: "Where is Tinubu, aka Bulaba?"

As usual, they have zilch to say except abuse her for being Igbo. The group in a press statement by its president, Aare Ogunmola Sakiru said the elevation of the high chiefs is a critical canon for progressivism in the anals of traditional rulership in Ibadan—  noting that the move by the Oyo State Government has the prospect of enhancing nation building in Ibadan land.
