One Of The APC Bigwigs is dead

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Zamfara State Chapter, has disclosed that, it's with great shock that they received the news of the sudden death of the party stalwart, Professor Abdullahi Muhammed Shinkafi, in Abuja.

In a press statement released to the newsmen in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara, by the spokesperson of the party in the State, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, said that his sudden death was a devastating blow to the party.

He said, "The death of a promising Islamic scholar of international repute and academician per excellence such as Professor Shinkafi is a monumental loss to Zamfara State, State APC Family and Nigeria at large."

In continuation of the press release, the State Working Committee of the party extends their heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, relatives and friends. 

During the lifetime of the demise, he was once the Commissioner of Religious Affairs and after some he was appointed as the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, during the 8 years regime of Abdul Aziz Yari.

Late Prof. Shinkafi is survived by two wives,who are Professors of Islamic Studies at the Usman Danfodio in Sokoto State.

The group in a press statement by its president, Aare Ogunmola Sakiru said the elevation of the high chiefs is a critical canon for progressivism in the anals of traditional rulership in Ibadan—  noting that the move by the Oyo State Government has the prospect of enhancing nation building in Ibadan land.
